The Neil Hewitt show originally scheduled for Saturday, August 15 has been moved to 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 6 at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds. The outdoor show is free and open to the public.

Hewitt is a country musician from nearby Nevada, Iowa. Among his career highlights are recording two albums in Nashville, Tennessee and performing as an opening show for several national acts.

Hewitt said visitors to his Marshalltown show can expect a mixture of music.

“People can expect to hear some original music from my own albums, plus some classic covers from the 80s and 90s,” he said.

He said he loves to be on stage and his favorite part of performing is “connecting with the audience and sharing my gift.”
