Iowa Valley Bicycle Club will be hosting the annual Marshmallo bike ride on Saturday, May 14, 2022. 

Saturday, May 14, 2022 

7:30 Century ride 

9:00 Trail/road/gravel ride 

10:00 Family ride Start at the Y Cultural Center, register with donation, lunch provided

The Century Ride goes on the trail to Melbourne, then on the road to Baxter and Bondurant and returns back. There will be a sag service available for the century riders.

The Gravel ride goes on the trail to Hwy 30, then on gravel to Melbourne, Van Cleve and Haverhill, before turning back towards Grimes Farm and back to the Y Cultural Center.

The Trail and road ride goes on the trail to Melbourne, and then turns towards Haverhill (to the Social Club) before returning on the same route.

The Trail ride is all on the trail to Melbourne.

The Family ride rides the improved trail to Riverview.

All rides are free to riders but we are accepting a free-will donation that will go as a fund raiser for the River’s Edge Trail going towards Albion.

The Forum (8:00-10:00) will be information at the Y Cultural Center in the morning by Bruce Johnson (TRAILS, Inc), Matt Gerstandt (Black Tire Bike Shop), and Geoff Hubbard (Park and Rec). They will be giving information about new bicycles and bike technology and about the Linn Creek Trail in town and The River’s Edge Trail going north.
