Description
The Marshalltown Community School District (MCSD) is excited to announce a special community presentation by Ravi Hutheesing, titled "PIVOT: Empowering Students Today to Succeed in an Unpredictable Tomorrow."
In "PIVOT," Ravi Hutheesing will explore how to empower Generations Z and Alpha to navigate an increasingly unpredictable future. With 40% of jobs on the verge of automation and 65% of youth entering fields that do not yet exist, Ravi’s presentation delves into the critical role of education, creativity, and humanity. He highlights the importance of harnessing artificial intelligence, building multicultural networks, and becoming passionate global citizens. Ravi’s "four pillars"—inspiring curiosity, nurturing talent, provoking critical thinking, and fostering communication—serve as a road map for lifelong learning and success.
Born into one of the world’s most influential families but forging his own path, Ravi’s unique journey, from rock star to cultural diplomat to educational entrepreneur, brings a captivating and inspiring perspective on preparing students for an ever-changing world.
"Ravi's message will not only help our students but will give the entire community a better understanding of how we can support the next generation of leaders,” said Superintendent Dr. Theron Schutte. “As we prepare our youth for the jobs of tomorrow, it’s essential that we focus on fostering creativity, embracing diversity, and empowering students to thrive in a world that is constantly evolving."
