SUMMARY:2nd Annual Polar Plunge
DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars Marshalltown! We are excited to announce that Marshalltown School Special Olympics is hosting their second annual Polar Plunge with Special Olympics Iowa on Friday May 1\, 2026 at 1:30 PM. Lenihan Intermediate School has graciously offered to host the plunge again this year. If you don't want to plunge\, you are welcome to donate to an athlete of your choosing. Registration/check in for the event begins at 1:00 PM and costumes are encouraged!Students and adults that wish to plunge\, will need to register on the website. Athletes are currently working on getting registered. A participant must raise $25 to plunge and there are incentives to raise more. Local businesses can create their own community team page at registration and plunge with us.
