If you are currently in financial services and are ready to take the next step in your career with an organization that puts an emphasis on customer service, this is a great opportunity for you!  You will open and service deposit accounts, manage a cash drawer, answer customer questions, and provide support to the operations department.

List of Job Duties:

  1. Opens and services new deposit accounts of various types, including IRAs, and develops new business. Responds to customer inquiries regarding deposit products and rates, explaining deposit products and services offered.
  2. Maintains a cash drawer, processing a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  3. Handles customer inquiries and assists other universal bankers or bank representatives as necessary.

Required Experience and/or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Requirements include:
  • Cash handling experience (bank teller, grocery or retail checkout, etc.)
  • The desire to work with customers
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel or similar software
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English
  • A minimum of two years of bank customer service experience is preferred; however, an individual with a strong cash handling background will be considered.
  • The ability to speak/interpret Spanish is a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Position requires attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, with the ability to resolve problems and make decisions with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
