1st Annual MCC Fishing Festival

Join us for the 1st Annual MCC Fishing Festival!

Located at Marshalltown Community College Pond & Campus Grounds

A FREE day of fun for the whole family!
Enjoy fishing, games, nature education, and more! Food trucks will be on-site with tasty treats, and a raffle with amazing prizes will raise funds to renovate our Outdoor Nature Learning Lab.

Morning Fishing 7:30 am – 1 pm

Kick off the day at 7:30 a.m. with fishing at the MCC pond.
Holy Grounds Food Truck will be serving coffee and breakfast goodies!

Fishing Info:

• All participants must have a valid Iowa fishing license.
• Bring your own gear if possible; limited tackle and bait available.
• This is a catch-and-keep event — fish can be taken home or donated.
• Two mobile fish cleaning stations and ice will be available.
• All fishing participants receive a goodie bag with 5 free raffle tickets!

Nature & Wildlife Festival (9 am – 1 pm)

Explore booths and programs hosted by local nature organizations.
Meet Iowa’s raptors, learn about pollinators, and more!
Educational talks every 30 minutes!

Food & Raffle

Food trucks will be selling food all morning starting with breakfast and coffee at 7:30 and then lunch items for purchase after 9:30 am
