This is for adults 18 + who have been interested in ballet, lyrical, contemporary or just want something a little slower for exercise. This may be for adults who had done ballet throughout their school years and yearn to pick up where they left off for fun. Learn some ballet basics while also building your core and leg muscles. Learn to feel the music through contemporary and lyrical dancing which works on displaying emotions through slow or medium tempo movement. All three techniques will be cycled throughout the year. This style can be done with ballet shoes borrowed or bought on your own or barefoot. Since we are in the month of dress up and costumes, feel free to be bold and emotional in your best 80's rock outfit or just wear those workout clothes with that big hair don't care attitude.
Class starts at 5:30 and ends at 7pm. However, if participants feel like they have had enough technique and exercise they can leave early. If participants want to stay later with their group of peers, please reach out to us to let us know.
