This is for adults who like to act, sing, and dance! We will learn some basic beginner to intermediate Jazz technique such as turns, isolations, and jazz square. We will get a great workout while perfecting our jazz technique to fun music from to broadway/ musicals such as Chicago or Burlesque to those artists who have spanned many generations such as Janet Jackson, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, and many more… This style is done with jazz shoes borrowed or bought on your own. However, this one is also easy to do with your barefeet. 'Tis the season for dress up and costumes as well. So wear your sparkliest leotard or just wear some basics workout clothes. We are going to dance jazz to the musical Burlesque!
Class starts at 5:30 and ends at 7pm. However, if participants feel like they have had enough technique and exercise they can leave early. If participants want to stay later with their group of peers, please reach out to us to let us know.
