Jenny Barnett from the African American Museum of Iowa will be speaking on the history of Buxton, Iowa. A former mining town that was predominantly black. The town only lasted for a couple of decades. Sponsored by the MCC Diversity Committee. Lunch will be served. MCC Room 614. Open to the public.
