A concert featuring traditional and contemporary folk music from Ireland & its influence in America. Presented in partnership with

internationally renowned Irish tenor Michael Londra, resident of Ames, IA and star of the PBS series Ireland with Michael and in

advance of the Ames Chamber Artists tour to Ireland in June 2026.

The Ames Chamber Artists is an ensemble representing a broad spectrum of educational and vocational backgrounds, joined in the common love of fine choral singing.

Founded in 1988, the Ames Chamber Artists has gained a reputation for exciting programming and superb execution rare among community ensembles.

The Ames Chamber Artists is supported in part by the Ames Commission for the Arts. Since its founding in September 1988, nearly 150 people have been

members of ACA, including ten accompanists. ACA has commissioned 16 pieces by 15 different composers, and has performed over 350 choral works.
