Three days. Three different heroes. One goal: to win the battle of the badges! Join LifeServe Blood Center at the Marshalltown Donor Center July 1-3 for the second annual Battle of the Badges! Give blood to support your favorite first responder group: law enforcement, fire, or EMS. Winner gets bragging rights! Will law enforcement, our 2019 champion, hold onto their crown? That’s up to you! Donors will get a voucher for a free shirt. To help ensure the safety of our team members and other blood donors during this COVID-19 pandemic, we are enforcing the following precautionary measures: -Appointments are required. Donors who do not have appointments will not be able to give blood. -We are asking that blood donors pre-screen themselves for fever prior to appointments. Only donors with temperatures under 99.5 will be allowed to donate. -Blood donors are required to wear a mask for the duration of their appointment. If you do not have a mask, we will provide you one.
