Description
Author and historian Craig Bishop will detail the life of baseball player turned evangelist Billy Sunday. The event is sponsored by the Historical Society of Marshall County (HSMC) and Humanites Iowa. Sunday was born near Ames and was a prominent evangelist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries according to Bishop. He played professionally eight seasons for the Chicago White Sox.

None. The event is free-of-charge and open to the public. A free-will donation is encouraged which allows HSMC to schedule other programs and advance its mission. Seating is limited to 45. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to get a seat.
