Join Soul Magick by Taylor Bear for the Black History Walk at Riverside Cemetery from 10am to 11am on Saturday, March 2nd. We rescheduled because of cold weather. We will park & meet at 10:00am by the office & Lake Woodmeer (the pond), walk east and around to the west side. While we walk we will talk about; Black History in Marshalltown then touch on Buxton, Iowa; a historic Iowa mining town that was predominantly Black. We will end near the pond at Civil War Solider Josiah French's buriel site west of the pond. We will have a 5 minute chat about honoring the Ancestors & loved ones passed. Hope you can join.
