Haunt the Block

Haunt the Block is Downtown Marshalltown’s family-favorite Halloween tradition, where kids and parents trick-or-treat at local businesses and show off their costumes in a safe, walkable environment. The event brings the community together for a fun and festive evening celebrating Halloween downtown.

Haunt the Block takes place throughout downtown, with Main Street closed from 3rd Street to 1st Avenue to create a safe, walkable route and improve the flow of foot traffic for families.
