Register Today for the Iowa Veterans Entrepreneurship Conference

Ames, IA – March 25, 2024 – The Iowa State University Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship and America’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Iowa invites veterans, active duty, reserve military, National Guard, military families, and their business partners to join us for the Iowa Veterans Entrepreneurship Conference on May 3-4, 2024. Proudly sponsored by Iowa State University Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business and the Bergstrom Foundation, this conference provides a supportive environment for exploring entrepreneurship.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in tailored workshops, networking sessions, and gain access to invaluable resources. Whether you're looking to start your own business, or are already pursuing a business venture, this conference offers something for everyone.

We are honored to announce Allen Lazard, NFL player and founder of At the Top for Vets, as our keynote speaker. Allen's foundation has generously sponsored attendance for veterans, military personnel, their families, and business partners, making this event completely free to attend. Limited spots are available, so don't wait to register!

The conference includes an optional virtual pitch workshop on April 24, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., in preparation for the two pitch competitions that will take place during the conference on May 3, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

A welcome reception for all attendees will be held on May 3, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with the main conference taking place on May 4, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Attendees will have the chance to connect with small business resources, on-site advisors, peers, and experts in various fields, ensuring entrepreneurship education and networking opportunities.
