Description

Free, live music and local food trucks return to the Leonard Grimes Memorial Amphitheater this summer at the Grimes Farm. The Friends of Marshall County Conservation will be offering the free 2021 Live and Local Concert Series 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Leonard Grimes Memorial Amphitheater at Grimes Farm 2349 233rd St., Marshalltown. The concerts are made possible by donations by the Ann C. Keyser Charitable Trust. Local food trucks will be there to supply supper, however participants can bring their own beverages and lawn chairs.

A favorite of FMCC, Jeff Petersen-guitar/vocals; Bob Dorr-drums/harmonica/vocals are twice inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and individually inducted into the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame. Their song list comes from 38 years of playing music together. Blues, Rockabilly, Americana, even a country song and maybe an old Blue Band song or three!
