Join the Arts + Culture Alliance for a poetry exhibit celebrating the voices of our local poets. Experience the power of words as talented poets take the stage to share their original works aloud, including:

Live readings by: Amber Cannon, Erica Madison, Les McCargar, Dan Sheeler, and Kim Hanken.

When: Friday, April 10, 2026 | 5:30–6:30 PM
Where: ACA | 126 W Main Street, Marshalltown, IA

This free, public event is perfect for teens and adults who love poetry, creativity, and community. Enjoy light appetizers, snacks, and complimentary beverages as you immerse yourself in an evening of artistic expression.

The event also marks the unveiling of poems selected through a jury process, on display April 10–May 31, featuring work by:
Lynn Sabin, George Trent, Christina Sterzing, Amber Cannon, Dani Musselman, Les McCargar, Afton Stout, Erica Madison, Miguel Sanchez, and Karina Ortiz.
