Stephen T. Johnson is a Caldecott-award winning artist, illustrator, book creator, and more. He is the artist of the new Scherzo sculpture installed outside the Marshalltown High School this summer. Following an appearance at the morning's storytime (prior to the meet and greet at 10:30 on the West Lawn), where we'll share a couple of his amazingly interactive children's books, Stephen will be available for people of all ages to stop by and connect with him in the large meeting room. Copies of some of his children's books will be available for sale and signing, thanks to Beaverdale Books. For those interested, Stephen will give a short presentation at NOON about his work, including the new sculpture in our community.
