Description

You're invited to the opening reception of Seeing Anew Part II: Through the Collector’s Eye, a special exhibit celebrating select works from the Fisher Art Museum's permanent collection.
The collection, acquired by Bill and Dorothy Fisher over several decades, reflects a deep love for the arts and a unique cultural legacy for the Marshalltown community.
The new exhibit marks the first time this portion of the collection has been on view since undergoing professional restoration in 2020, offering a rare opportunity to experience these later 19th C. and early 20th C. works with renewed clarity and appreciation.
Light refreshments will be provided
This event is Free and open to the public.
The exhibit will be on display through 2027.
Opening during the month of February, Seeing Anew Part II is a celebration of enduring love for art, for community, and for new beginnings. Whether you’re a longtime supporter of the Fisher Art Museum or visiting for the first time, we invite you to come experience these works, anew.
