Playreading of 3 One-Act Plays

On Wednesday, July 16, 7:00 p.m. join us for a free playreading of the three one act plays named the winners of the 2025 Marshalltown Community Theatre Playwriting Competition.

Enjoy three original, prizewinning one act plays to be presented as a Readers' Theatre. The performances will be at the Orpheum Movie Theatre, 220 East Main St., Marshalltown. 

Two very clever comedies--"Impromptu" and "Two Old Farts"--and the thought-provoking tale of a dying Earth, "The Death of Station Axis" will be read by MCT regulars, to entertain the audience and to share the skills of three prize winning playwrights--Justin Nostrala, Alexander Richardson, and Quinn Young!
