This will be a potluck picnic. Theresa Theis will be doing a presentation on “What Can Energy Tell Us About Our Universe?” Scientists use a great many tools to explore the Universe. One source of information traveling all around us is energy, and the Electromagnetic Spectrum is how we can translate that energy into data about our sun, the solar system, and so much more. We will discuss the energy of the universe and how scientists read and use it. What instruments do they use to collect the data and the application of all that information?
