On Sunday May 14th, St. Paul's Episcopal Church will host a classical guitar concert by The Iowa Guitar Quartet. The Quartet was formed by Steven Kennedy, David Crabbs, Dave Reynolds, and Thomas Finn in 2016 as an outgrowth of their involvement with the Heart of Iowa Classical Guitar Society. Based in the Des Moines area, these musicians have studied with, taught and performed with the best guitarists in the country, and regularly perform for colleges and musical arts organizations. They are regulars on other concert series schedules. These noted musicians will present a varied assortment of classical, traditional, folk and modern pieces in a concert sure to satisfy all musical tastes. This 90-minute concert will begin at 3:00pm and is free of charge. St. Paul's Episcopal Church is located at 201 E. Church Street, in Marshalltown.
