Trees to Table Pancake Feed

From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on March 4 at the Grimes Farm Conservation Center, 2349 233rd St., Marshall County Conservation will be celebrating maple sugaring season with the Trees to Table Pancake Feed. Come to learn about the making of syrup and enjoy a stack of flap jacks topped with real maple syrup. This sweet treat cannot be beaten from the trees at Grammer Grove to the Conservation Center tables. Tickets include three pancakes, locally harvested syrup, two sausages and a beverage. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $6 at the Grimes Farm Conservation Center. Tickets at the door on the day of the event are $7 and will be available as supplies last. This event is sponsored by the Noon Kiwanis, and proceeds will go towards playground equipment at Grammer Grove. The Grimes Farm is located at 2359 233rd St. just west of Highland Acres Road between West Lincoln Way and Iowa Avenue.
