Hay Construction is seeking a skilled construction superintendent to join our team to help coordinate employees, subcontractors, and construction activities at our jobsites.  Will need prior experience in the commercial construction industry.  We are a local company and most of our clients are within a 20-mile radius of Marshalltown.    

List of Job Duties:  

• Coordination of employees and subcontractors.
• Reading project plans and specifications.
• Performing tasks in a timely, accurate, and safe manner. 
• Representing yourself to your fellow workers and clients in a respectful manner.
• Clearly communicate with the project team. 

Required Experience and/or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

• Prior and proven experience as a construction superintendent.
• Ability to read and correctly interpret plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Well-rounded knowledge of construction processes and assemblies.
• Able to safely and correctly complete construction projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
