Farmers Savings Bank is looking for a part-time customer service representative who can assist customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner. Duties include processing a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently and answering customer inquires both in person and over the phone while maintaining a working knowledge of branch operational procedures, bank product and bank services. 

List of Job Duties:

  1. Maintain a cash drawer, process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  2. Handle customer inquiries and assist others in the department as necessary.
  3. Enhance the image of the bank with prompt, courteous, and friendly service.

Required Experience and/or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Requirements include:
    • Cash handling experience (bank teller, grocery or retail checkout, etc.)
    • The desire to work with customers
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel or similar software
    • Proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Position requires attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, with the ability to resolve problems and make decisions with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • A minimum of six months of customer service experience and cash handling is preferred.
  • The ability to speak/interpret Spanish is a plus.
