Farmers Savings Bank is looking for a part-time customer service representative who can assist customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner. Duties include processing a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently and answering customer inquires both in person and over the phone while maintaining a working knowledge of branch operational procedures, bank product and bank services.
List of Job Duties:
- Maintain a cash drawer, process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries and assist others in the department as necessary.
- Enhance the image of the bank with prompt, courteous, and friendly service.
Required Experience and/or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Requirements include:
- Cash handling experience (bank teller, grocery or retail checkout, etc.)
- The desire to work with customers
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel or similar software
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Position requires attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, with the ability to resolve problems and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- A minimum of six months of customer service experience and cash handling is preferred.
- The ability to speak/interpret Spanish is a plus.
