Marshalltown SHIIP Office Seeks to Recruit and Train
Additional Volunteer Counselors

The local Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), located in the UnityPoint Health Family Medicine – Marshalltown clinic at 303 Nicholas Dr., is seeking volunteers to become trained Medicare counselors.

SHIIP is a free service to the public and trained counselors help people with questions about Medicare, including Medicare Parts A & B, prescription drug benefits (Part D), Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Supplement Insurance. Counselors can also help identify Medicare fraud, errors and abuse.
